Hi

I had actually written an update earlier but, being the technophobe that I must be, I had difficulty getting it to upload to the website!

Just recently I have been helping at Culberrys Herbal Nursery.  I just volunteer for a couple of hours a week.  It has been quite a testing time seeing if my muscles have been up to the challenge of digging around in the herb beds.  So far, I m pleased to say that apart from general aches and pains I have been really quite good and hope that it is a good sign for the summer!  

I was volunteered to do a herbal walk as the normal herbalist couldn't attend.  That was interesting!  Wasn't sure what I was getting myself into but all worked out very nicely.

While I was there I managed to find some Greater Celandine which worked wonders on my husband eye.  He had got some kind of infection and had been to the doctors.  The doctor issued him with a prescription for some steroidal drops that he had yet to fetch from the chemist.  

We thought it worth trying the Celandine first.   After bathing his eye in a tea of the Celandine. with a little added milk, the infection disappeared and as yet has not returned.  Very happy with that result!  

Well I am off now to have a look at the greenhouse.  I have sown some herbs and need to go and check they are tucked up for the night!
